Art Portfolio

Art is energy and connection.

Fluid art is where I started, enjoying the way slight adjustments in gravity and density could create significant impacts on the outcome of a piece.
While fantasizing about leaving an intense job to start a burnout recovery retreat, I explored the concept of "art therapy" and found the neurographic style. I enjoyed playing with this and fluid art together.
I began playing with foils and alkyd oils further, shifting fluid art from a primary expression to a tool along with other media and styles.
I found connections with the micro and macro around us with the neurographic style, building on the details that each piece taught me.
My neurographic style grew further, embracing a therapeutic free flow concept to let colors and lines and shapes move and shift as necessary on a canvas.

I bring a sense of scientific wonder to the micro and macro around us in my art, joining together speculative fiction ideas with abstract expression.

The story of these handprints originated from a state of sleep deprivation and a dusty cathode ray tube television. I've attempted numerous stories from that origin and will likely try more, from other angles or explanations. I expect additional paintings will be necessary as well, some linked with the stories, some not.

My story will continue, my style will grow and flow. Follow along.
