Closing Reception for my Solo Exhibit at The Overlook

Closing Reception for my Solo Exhibit at The Overlook

It's been a fantastic four months getting to put on my very own art show at The Overlook in the Oro Valley Community & Recreation Center. On Saturday, August 29, my exhibit Playful, Practical & Political comes to an end. Join me as I prepare to take down all of this art and store it away for the next opportunity!

On Saturday, August 29, from 4PM to 6PM, I'm hosting a reception in the bar area of The Overlook. There will be light refreshments for you to enjoy. My new greeting card line will be available at this reception as well. These cards feature my Pride Kintsugi series. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to BOSS, a queer-founded & -facilitated Tucson workshop that is creating a skill-building community that is anti-racist, feminist and safer for queer folx and BIPOC.

To complement the small bites, you can also indulge in the cash bar at The Overlook. And, in addition to my artwork, there is an entire separate collection of art to peruse from the Southern Arizona Arts Guild exhibit, FDR's Four Freedoms.

Start of your Saturday evening with great views of the Catalinas, a few tasty bites, a refreshing beverage, and lots of art!
